Just to give a little back story, Taylored Pets & House Sitters began in 2016 when a single mum and gorgeous daughter found themselves in a precarious financial situation and decided that December 2016 would be the best time to launch their brand new family business, Taylored Pet & House Sitters. We have loved the journey and certainly will not be looking back any time soon. Hence the heart in our logo, we certainly do love fur, feather, fin and slither babies with our whole hearts. (Admittedly, daughter has the love for all slither babies, mum, not so much).
What Do We Do?
We take care of our client’s fur, fin and feathered babies in the comfort of their own homes. How we do that is to live in our client’s homes just as they usually do, maintaining the same familiar environment and routine for their babies. That way, our clients can go away knowing that their precious babies are as happy and as safe as they possibly can be in the absence of their parents.
The aim of this website is to share knowledge about furbaby care, nutrition, the latest toys, beds, and more. There will be links on this website that will assist us in continuing the site and providing for Beth to attend university and realize her dreams of becoming a veterinarian.
Introducing Louise and Beth
Having always had a love for furbabies, it made logical sense to do something we both love and generate an income to sustain ourselves. One challenge, Louise was very nervous about dogs! Our first booking was with two massive Great Danes, a gorgeous brown Labrador, spritely Jack Russel, and none other than a Princess, Persian kitty! After being introduced to the “monsters” (a term of endearment from their human father), we realized that all Louise needed to do was face her fears.
The youngster of the Great Danes thought it would be fun to show appreciation for his bowl of food by nipping Louise on the rear as she fed him – on the first day! Needless to say, the young man had to be shown who was boss very early on in the game. From then on, all was plain sailing – thank heavens.
Over the years we have had the absolute pleasure of loving furbabies great and small, from tiny (and huge-hearted) Yorkies to strong and playful Bull Terriers, Great Danes, Rescues – furry, feathered, finned, and all! Sometimes single furbabies and other times total menageries.
We love what we do and have awesome regular clients who are more than happy to give references, we shall be posting those on our website soon.
Beth is unafraid of all creatures great and small – literally having frolicked in paddocks with horses from a very young age, as though they were puppies. Beth is trained in animal nutrition and has completed a wide range of courses in animal health care, handling, and even snake handling! Based in Africa, we are blessed with exposure to a wide range of wildlife, Beth has even bottle-fed a young elephant, that was before reaching her teens.
Let us know if there is anything specific you would like us to research and write about for you.
Love always

Hello Louise and Beth,
I enjoyed reading your story! I’m a dog and cat lover and we have a rottweiler from a shelter, took her home when she was only a few months old and now she’s been with us for 8 years. She is our baby! She was even with us on a road trip in Spain and was behaving very well, surprisingly 🙂
What I didn’t understand from your article is whether you run a shelter or what is your pet business based on. Do you sell some toys or food for pets?
Lenka
Hi Lenka
Thank you so much for visiting our brand new little site 🙂 We take care of our client’s furbabies in their homes, living with them just as their “hooman” mommies and daddies do. That way it is far less stressful on the furries and their “hoomans” can go away know their babies are in familiar surroundings.
We’ve started this website to expand our business into researching, recommending and selling products online as well as market our furbaby sitting business.
Bless you for adopting from a shelter, rotties can be such amazing companions! I am sure she is a very faithful friend as well as being your well-behaved baby 🙂
Pop back soon and see the developments as we build out our site.
Love,
Louise and Beth xxx

Thanks for explaining and adding the information to your website! Now it’s clear.
It’s very nice to take care of the pets in their own home, I agree it is much less stressful for the poor pets when their masters leave them going on holiday or business.
I will keep an eye on your website as I’m curious what else you’ll come up with!
All the best,
Lenka
